- MODULE OBJECTIVES:
- Understand and explain the concepts of “Leadership Development” and “Change Management”
- Familiarize and prepare themselves to the practical aspects of Leadership Development and Change Management
- Explain leadership theories and styles and understand why leaders are successful in various situations
- Understand the link between leadership development and change management
- Understand the strategies, knowledge, skills and competencies to influence change in organizations;
- Understand the concept of resistance to change management in organisations
- Understand the role of communication in organizational change
- Understand the strong role of culture in organizational change
- Acquire knowledge, skills and understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of Conflict Management in Organizational change
- Explain why groups and teams are key contributors in organizational change
- Familiarize themselves with the Rwandan approach towards Organizational change
2. MODULE BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This module will introduce and prepare the participants to the practical aspects of Leadership Development and Change Management. It will also equip the participants with the knowledge and skills to manage change in an organization. Furthermore, the module will stress the importance of Leadership Development and Organizational Change in an organization.
