- MODULE OBJECTIVES:
- Understand and explain the concepts of “Leadership Development” and “Conflict management”
- Familiarize and prepare themselves to the practical aspects of Leadership Development and Conflict management
- Explain leadership theories and styles and understand why leaders are successful in various situations
- Understand the link between Leadership Development and Conflict management
- Understand the strategies, knowledge, skills and competencies to handle conflict in organizations;
- Understand the concept of conflict persistence in Organizations
- Understand the role of Communication in preventing and managing conflict in Organization
- Understand the strong role of Culture in conflict management
- Acquire knowledge, skills and understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of Conflict Management in organization
- Explain why Groups and Teams are key contributors in conflict management
- Familiarize themselves with the Rwandan approach towards conflict management
2. MODULE BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This module will introduce and prepare the participants to the practical aspects of Leadership Development and conflict management. It will also equip the participants with the knowledge and skills to manage conflict in an organization.

4. TARGET AUDIENCE:
The target audience will include all the senior officers from the Public service, Private sector as well as the civil society. These will include but not limited to: Permanent Secretaries, Director Generals, Division managers and Project managers.
