March 21st, 2022, Rwanda Management Institute (RMI) in partnership with Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has started providing a training to 46 public servants in different courses that include Procurement Management, Financial Management, Advanced Project Management, and Internal Quality Assurance of systems and tools.  The eight-day training is taking place in Muhanga District, namely at RMI Murambi Campus and Splendid Hotel.  

Dr. MULINDAHABI Charline, the RMI Director General during the official opening urged the training participants to seize this training opportunity and actively participate, share knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the training expectations and perform better on their respective responsibilities.

She also commends government of Rwanda that is built on strong leadership for putting in place policies of building capacities of Rwandans and availing the related budget. 

Mr. Emmanuel UWIZEYIMANA, the Future Skills Development Analyst of RDB requested the training participants to utilize participatory approaches in order exchange and acquire expected skills.

Procurement Management and Financial Management have brought together 9 participants each, Advanced Project Management with 11 while the 17 participants are following the Internal Quality Assurance of systems and tools course.

This training is under the Priority Skills for Growth (PSG) program which is championed by RDB, it is financed by the World Bank to expand opportunities for the acquisition of quality, market-relevant skills in the selected economic sectors.
