- MODULE OBJECTIVES:
This module being intended to be provided to decision makers i.e. financial managers, at the end of this training, participants should be able:
- To manage company's assets and liabilities, including monitoring operational financing items such as expenditures, revenues, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash flow, and profitability
- To develop the knowledge and skills expected of a finance manager, in relation to investment, financing and dividend policy decisions.
- To assess and manage risks by evaluating the potential financial exposure a company incurs by making capital expenditures (CAPEX) or by instituting certain workplace policies
2. MODULE BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This module aims to provide to financial and budget managers from private or public institutions the insights on how scarce resources can be allocated to an indentified possible among competing opportunities and take necessary actions to monitor the progress of the chosen opportunity so as to achieve the set strategic goals.
In other words, this entails the identification of possible capable of maximizing an institution’s Net Present Value (NPV), the allocation of scarce capital resources between competing opportunities and the implementation and monitoring of the chosen strategies so as to achieve stated objectives

The targeted audience for this module is: Chief Executive for both Private and Public institutions, Budget managers (Managing Directors, etc.), Chief Investment Analysts, Chief Finance Officers, Director of Finance & Administration, etc. This module intends to provide them important skills to by efficiently (or VFM) and effectively allocating scare resources to an indefinite opportunities in a manner that maximizes shareholders’/entity’s wealth.
