RMI CONCLUDES TEN-DAY HANDS-ON DATA ANALYTICS TRAINING FOR EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS
Murambi, 06 February 2026 – Rwanda Management Institute (RMI) has successfully concluded a ten-day intensive Data Analytics training for fifteen (15) professionals from the education sector, held at the RMI Murambi Campus.
The training aimed to strengthen participants’ practical data analytics skills and enhance evidence-based decision-making within their institutions. Over the ten days, participants acquired hands-on experience in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel, Python, and interactive dashboards, enabling them to generate actionable insights to improve planning and performance in the education sector.
Representing the Director General of RMI, the Principal Senior Training Coordinator, Mr. Vincent de Paul Nshimyumuremyi, commended participants for their commitment and urged them to apply the acquired skills to create tangible impact within their institutions, noting the growing importance of data analytics in improving institutional effectiveness.
Speaking on behalf of the trainees, a representative highlighted the practical relevance of the training. “the hands-on modules in data management, analysis, and visualization using Excel, Python, and dashboards have significantly strengthened our ability to deliver and make informed, data-driven decisions in the education sector.” He noted.
The trainer emphasized the expected impact of the program, encouraging participants to serve as change agents by promoting data-driven practices within their institutions.
The training was organized with the support of the Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA) through the Chief Skills Office, in line with national capacity-building priorities.
The successful completion of this training reaffirms RMI’s commitment to building institutional capacity through high-quality, demand-driven programs aligned with Rwanda’s development agenda.
