RMI CONCLUDES THE TRAINING OF VERIFICATION OF IMAGING PROCEDURES FOR MMI STAFF AT RMI- MUHIMA CAMPUS.

13 March 2025, Rwanda Management Institute completed a 3-day training for 10 Military Medical Insurance staff in Verification of Imaging Procedures. The aim of the training was to provide for medical inspectors and bill verification officers with the knowledge and tools needed to efficiently oversee imaging services, ensuring that claims are legitimate, well-documented, and in compliance with established medical standards.

This training focused on the following key objectives; Understanding imaging procedures, Ensuring consistency, Addressing billing claims, Strengthening collaboration.

In his welcoming remarks, on behalf of RMI Director General, Mr. NSHIMYUMUREMYI Vincent de Paul, the Principal Senior Training Coordinator commended and urged the trainees to start utilizing the knowledge gained in the benefit of MMI.

The trainer emphasized that after the training, participants will be proficient in understanding and verifying imaging procedures, Improve consistency in the application of medical procedures and billing practices, Effectively address billing discrepancies, and Collaborate more effectively. 

The class representative thanked Rwanda Management Institute  and the facilitator for the training which he said was well prepared.

"This training gave us a lot of knowledge that we didn't have before which will help us work professionally and produce the necessary results by putting things in order", he said.

Rwanda Military Medical Insurance (RMMI) plays a crucial role in ensuring that military personnel and their families receive the highest standard of healthcare. Imaging services, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, fluoroscopic studies , radiotherapy and ultrasound procedures, are essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

RMI is an institution mandated to offer training in Administration and Management disciplines for public service, private sector, and civil society organizations personnel. It also offers Leadership and Management Development training as well Advisory Services, and Research and Consultancy services.
