RWANDA MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE LAUNCHES PMP TRAINING PROGRAM FOR RDB STAFF

On 9 March 2026, the Rwanda Management Institute (RMI) officially launched a Project Management Professional (PMP) training program for fourteen (14) staff members from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) at the RMI Muhima Campus in Kigali.
The three-week training program, organized in partnership with RDB, aims to strengthen project management competencies among RDB staff and enhance their ability to effectively plan, implement, and manage strategic projects that contribute to national development.
The program combines instructor-led sessions, practical exercises, and guided revision to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to successfully sit for the internationally recognized PMP certification examination. The training will be delivered through evening and selected weekend sessions, allowing participants to build practical project management expertise while maintaining their professional responsibilities.
Speaking on behalf of the RMI Director General, the Principal Senior Training Coordinator, Mr. Vincent de Paul Nshimyumuremyi, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of continuous professional development in strengthening institutional capacity. He commended the participants for their commitment to enhancing their professional skills and wished them success throughout the training and certification process.
The PMP training program aligns with RMI’s mandate to build capacity in both the public and private sectors by providing high-quality professional training in administration and resource management practices across institutions.
