Rwanda Management Institute Strengthens Workplace Well-being Through Knowledge Sharing and Occupational Safety Workshop
On June 17, 2026 at Muhanga Campus, Rwanda Management Institute hosted a Knowledge Sharing and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Workshop for its staff. The workshop was designed to strengthen awareness of workplace safety, promote employee well-being, and foster a healthy and productive working environment.
The event brought together RMI staff for interactive learning and experience sharing on key occupational safety and health issues. The sessions focused on raising awareness of workplace safety practices, managing job-related stress, and promoting healthy work habits that contribute to employees' physical and mental well-being.
To complement the knowledge-sharing sessions, a team of health practitioners conducted voluntary screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The initiative encouraged preventive healthcare by promoting early detection and increasing awareness of health conditions that can affect employees' well-being and productivity.
Speaking at the occasion, the team leader of health practitioners, Mrs. Donatha MUKANDAYISENGA, emphasized that participation in medical screening should remain voluntary. She highlighted the importance of informed consent, confidentiality, and trust in ensuring that workplace health initiatives respect employees' rights while supporting their overall well-being.
The workshop reflects Rwanda Management Institute's continued commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment. By investing in staff well-being and promoting a culture of continuous learning, RMI continues to strengthen its efforts to enhance employee welfare and organizational performance.
